I am so excited to share a giveaway with our AG Doll Play fans and readers! Awhile back now, Noah from Doll Shoe Lane contacted me asking if we would be interested in featuring a review and/or a giveaway on our blog and I checked out his store and quickly got back to him with a YES! Well, with the end of the school year craziness and then with my daughter attending a week of dance camp right away, things got busy and here I am finally posting our review and giveaway on the doll blog!

I have to say, Zoey and I were both impressed with how fast the shipping was, and the presentation itself once the shoes arrived was top notch.

The shoes came wrapped in plastic with a business card and then there was also included the materials needed (instructions too!) to create your own shoe box!!! This is such a great added touch since it adds to the experience of "play" for the dolls. They can go shopping, give shoes as a gift, have a gift to open, etc. Such a great bonus!!

It was pretty easy, Zoey was able to do it no problem but for those that may be craft inept (no shame here!!) they even provide a website you can go to to view picture step-by-step instructions!

Eeek!! We LOVE our froggie slippers!! They are so adorable and unique, our dolls adore them! They tell us they are comfy too. The stitching detail is truly amazing and the care taken while creating these is apparent for sure. So sweet. It's always fun to have something for the dolls that's different than what everyone else has...this fits the bill in that department!

The Queen's Treasures New Bakery Shoppe!

As you may or may not have known, The Queen's Treasures was having a giveaway recently on their Facebook page allowing for one person that commented and shared their Facebook update to win either a $100.00 gift certificate to The Queen's Treasures online store OR their brand new Bakery Shoppe!!  This Bakery Shoppe is perhaps the sweetest thing that I have yet to see for 18 inch doll play!

What could be cooler than having a bakery shoppe for your 18 inch dolls? Hmmm...perhaps the ability to have this shoppe turn into a tea room perhaps?

Or maybe your dolls would rather do some shoe shopping?  

I love that they created interchangeable signs so that this play set can really pack some play power punch!  We are really excited about this play set and we are also really excited to share that WE WON the giveaway from The Queen's Treasures!!  I couldn't believe it when I was scrolling down the Facebook status updates the other day and I saw the announcement.  I was sitting at the kitchen table helping Zoey with her math homework and squealed out loud when I read it!  Of course then Zoey found out right away because I was too excited to keep it a secret and she was the only one home and I had to share it with someone!  After thinking about it, she was debating for some time between the Coconut Smoothie Shaved Ice Stand

or the Bakery Shoppe and despite the fact that she knows she won't be getting the Bakery Shoppe until the safety testing is completed (love a company that takes that so seriously and is up front about it) which will mean June...she chose the Bakery Shoppe!  I was so proud of her for choosing it despite the fact that she'll have to wait for it.  Her birthday is in the middle of June so it will definitely make for a fun bonus surprise when the time rolls around to our receiving it.  We can't wait!!  We've already decided that we are going to make our own additional signs that will fit in the slots and paint them with chalkboard paint so we can have a book store, a vet, a flower stand, a lemonade stand, a grocery, etc. The play factor for this set is truly endless!!

Product Review - That's Lolli

Recently we were contacted by the owner of the Etsy shop, That's Lolli inquiring if we would do a review for one of their products and host a giveaway as well.  We were thrilled when we found out that it involved getting one of the sweet doll headbands listed in her shop.  I let Zoey decide which one was her favorite and I wasn't too surprised when she selected the soft pink one listed as Easter Pink.

The shipping was really quick and the headband arrived in a legal sized envelope and was wrapped around a nice sturdy business card sharing the name of the shop as well as the web address.

Here is a close-up of the back of the doll headband.  It's nice that she topped it off with a little patch of fabric so the dolls hair won't get messed up too much when being slid on and off.  :)

We chose to have Zoe try it on because she was already dressed in an outfit that was perfect for showcasing the headband. She looks so sweet!

We think the size of the flower is right on too with the size of the doll...it's not too overpowering but adds some spunk and flair!

It's safe to say that we love the headband.  It's a great accessory to add some fun to your doll's wardrobe.  They come in so many colors and in addition to the strap style that we chose they also come attached to a traditional headband as well.  She also has matching girl and doll headband sets!  How fun would that be for your daughter or grand-daughter's Easter dresses?  And for birthday parties she sells the headbands in sets for party favors or gifts!  How perfect is that?
