Welcome Home Elizabeth!

We have some exciting news to share here...for Easter, Zoey discovered along with her Easter basket Elizabeth!  She could not believe that the Easter bunny was able to find an Elizabeth doll (who is retired) let alone carry it to her along with her basket for Easter!  It was a pretty big surprise indeed!

Zoey got busy right away changing Elizabeth's clothes and shoes...

and playing with that beautiful hair right away was in order too.

When Elizabeth is in braids we think that she looks a lot like Zoey.

She is so cute!

Zoey is so excited to welcome Elizabeth to our doll family.  I will share more photos of Elizabeth here with our other dolls soon.  We have been playing with her non-stop!

We are learning how to take care of her pin curls so if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to share them with us!  In the photos with the braids we just tucked them in the braids and since, they're back to normal after a bit of fussing and finger curling.

  1. I have an Elizabeth and I've had her since I was five. Five-year-old me was pretty rough on her, yet she still has her pincurls.
All I can suggest is, don't cut them off (duh, but it had to be mentioned), and leave the pincurls out of a ponytail.

  2. Congratulations! What a beautiful doll! We got a couple of new dolls this week too. Saige and Molly came home from the AG Boston store.

You were lucky to find such a great Elizabeth to buy!

    Happy Belated Easter.

  5. She totally is Katie!! She loves her hair especially and the fancy dress that she came in. She's the only "old fashioned" doll we have according to Zoey. ;)

  6. She is so cute. I used to dream about getting her but since she is retired I don't know where to find her.

  7. It's great that you could find her now that she is retired! I have her, but she was from my little sister. My sister looks a lot like Emily, and I had Emily, so we traded. Personally I like Elizabeth much better. She does look like Zoey
