Tutorial : Make Your Dolls a Spooky Tree

Yesterday Zoey had a play date with a friend that ended up turning into an impromptu sleepover (Zoey was thrilled!) and while there she and her friends made some little ghosts and decorated some mini pumpkins.  When she came home and I saw the ghosts I had the thought to make a little Halloween tree for her dolls using the ghosts and some spider webbing for decoration.  We quickly got to work and then changed her dolls into their Halloween attire and we were ready for some playing and a little photo shoot of course!

Rebecca was dressed as a fairy princess and Julie was Cinderella.

Zoe was dressed as a pumpkin...

Emily was a friendly witch and Kristen a baker...

McKenna was dressed as an oriental princess and Lucy was celebrating her Native American ethnicity.

Here was our spooky tree...we found a branch in the backyard and anchored it into a little pail by filling it with rocks.  We stretched some spider webbing on the branches and hung Zoey's little kleenex tissues on the branches using the tail ends of the twistie ties that were used to tie up their heads.

I had some spider rings so of course we added those!

So much fun!
